On August 23rd, 2020, the film Human Energy was shown in Warsaw Jazdów. After the screening the audience could talk to Adam Dzienis, producer and director of the film and Weronika Bloch, initiator and manager of the project.
The young people took a keen interest in the current situation in Poland in terms of the possibility of establishing energy cooperatives.
The show was accompanied by musical performances of “Synergia Colective” and “Facheroia”.
It was the first show in Poland since the beginning of the pandemic, organized by Extinction Rebellion Warsaw, as part of AKADE 2020, an educational initiative that aggregates knowledge about the climate and ecological disaster. Its aim is to support grassroots action for the climate. As a dedicated initiative provided a series of webinars and lectures by well-known experts and social and environmental activists.
